Prelims

01 Programming

Programming is the crucial first step to any effective and high quality remodeling project. A design program is the detailed summary that brings together your list of wants and needs, compiles a comprehensive assessment of the existing home, and ultimately identifies the scope of work to be designed

As interior designers, it’s essential for us to understand your unique identity and needs in order to make informed and quality design decisions. During the initial discovery consultation, you have the opportunity to share your vision for the life you aspire to have in your dream home. This is our chance to learn everything we need to know about you and the goals we can achieve together, so feel free to dream big and express your ideas without reservation!

02 Conceptual Design

Now is the moment for us to shine as your interior designers! Building on the insights from our initial consultation, we will create detailed as-built drawings of your existing home and present several design concept proposals that highlight the possibilities for your space. Utilizing our 2D and 3D design software, we’ll bring your dream home to life, helping you visualize the creative directions we can take. During the concept review, you’ll have the chance to provide valuable feedback as we collaborate to narrow the focus and find the perfect direction that aligns with your needs and personal style. 

03 Design Development

Once we’ve established the project direction, we will focus on design development to enhance the concept proposal. During this phase, we’ll elaborate on the details and make selections for materials, products, and finishes to create a complete design package for your home. 

04 Construction Drawings

At this stage, we utilize the finalized design drawings to produce a comprehensive set of construction plans that serve as the blueprint during construction. We work closely with our team of skilled trades and vendors to develop the completed remodeling proposal including schedules and Budgets. 

Construction Agreements

05 Construction Administration

At this stage, we assume the role of project management and coordination, guiding our team through the pre-construction planning process efficiently and effectively. We will schedule your project for the next available construction slot, secure the necessary building permits, and initiate product procurement to prevent any material delays once construction begins.

06 Construction

With all the planning complete, we’re excited to begin renovating your home! Throughout each phase of construction, we will provide ongoing project management and collaborate closely with our trade teams to ensure the project’s success. You’ll have opportunities to join us for site visits at key milestones, allowing you to meet with the trades and see the progress firsthand.

The key milestones of a typical project include:

  • Demolition
  • Framing
  • Rough-in
  • Drywall
  • Installations
  • Fixtures and Finishes
  • Touch-ups
  • Cleaning
  • Handover
07 Closing, Handover and Post Construction

Even though the renovations are complete, our work isn’t finished! At the end of our projects, we love to celebrate with a handover event, raising a toast to you and welcoming you to your new home. After the project closes, we’re still here for you, providing ongoing support for any questions or warranty needs you may have.
